Consequences for inappropriate behavior or choices depend on the severity of the incident and are as follows:
DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP
Technology is a Privilege.
Technology is used in all classes as part of instructional and enrichment programs. It is important to remember that the use of technology is a privilege and students must agree to certain guidelines.
The use of technology is a privilege, and unacceptable use will result in a cancellation of those privileges. Accounts and access to technology devices can be cancelled at any time.
COMMON SENSE MEDIA
Verbal Warning, STOP, Citation
Consequences for inappropriate behavior or choices depend on the severity of the incident and are as follows:
- Minor offenses (ex: disrupting classroom activities or off-task): Student is given a VERBAL WARNING.
- If the behavior continues, the student is given an additional warning. If the behavior still continues, the student receives a STOP and the parent is notified.
- Major offenses (ex: teasing, bullying, or any other malicious, intentionally harmful or dangerous activity): immediate CITATION and parent notification.
